Art Contest

About the Contest

The International Aviation Art Contest, sponsored by Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI), is held each year to encourage young people to demonstrate the importance of aviation through their art and to motivate them to become more familiar with and participate in aeronautics, engineering and science.

The United States' portion of the contest is sponsored by the National Aeronautic Association (NAA), the National Association of State Aviation Officials (NASAO), and Embry-Riddle Aeronautic University (ERAU), National Coalition for Aviation Education (NCAE) and the Ken Cook Company.

A committee selects the United States' national contest winners and their artwork is forwarded to FAI for further judging to determine international winners.

U.S. National artwork is submitted to participating STATE aviation organizations; residents of states that do participate will be offered an alternative method of submitting artwork.

Click here for explanation of the annual theme, information about submitting artwork (scroll to the bottom), and previous winners.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND ART WORK TO NAA.
