Dear NAA Members and Friends, The countdown is on to National Aviation Day – August 19, 2021! National Aviation Day was established in 1939 by President Franklin D. Roosevelt, who issued a proclamation designating the anniversary of Orville Wright’s birthday, August 19, 1871, to be a day in which citizens are encouraged to participate in activities that promote interest in aviation.
